THE CHALLENGE

Building a brand for a church on a mission.

Keep the soul of what makes it unique.

One Church launched in December 2025 with about 14 people gathered in a living room. From that first Sunday, Pastor Glen and Chrissy Rowden knew they were planting something rooted in a simple but powerful mission: Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.

What they needed was a brand and digital presence that could carry that mission forward — welcoming enough for someone walking in for the first time, and clear enough to communicate who they are to a city they genuinely love. The challenge wasn’t creating something flashy. It was building something true.

APPROACH & EXECUTION

One Church isn’t built around a program or a personality — it’s built around community, scripture, prayer, and a shared calling. The brand needed to reflect that: grounded, warm, and accessible without being generic among the thousands of churches with blues, oceans, and “Florida-vibes” across the board.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • A brand that reflects the church’s mission, values, and culture without feeling overdone or institutional.
  • A visual system flexible enough to grow with a young, evolving congregation.
  • A website built for visitors — clear on location, services, and how to get connected.
  • Ongoing collateral support as the church grows and launches new programming.

DELIVERABLES

Built to welcome.

Built to last.

Every deliverable was designed to work together — as consistent on a Sunday morning slide deck as it is on a connect card handed to a first-time visitor. Clean, intentional, and ready for wherever One Church goes next.

Primary, horizontal, and icon-only variants — all delivered as vectors and images, ready for any surface from a church bulletin to a banner on the beach.

02

Website

Designing ongoing materials — event graphics, connect cards, kids ministry assets, and more — to support a church that’s always moving.

03

Ongoing Collateral

Designing ongoing materials — event graphics, connect cards, kids ministry assets, and more — to support a church that’s always moving.

TIMELINE

Two weeks, three weeks, and beyond.

Church plants move fast — and so did we. Here’s how this project went from discovery to launch.

WK 1

Discovery & Direction.

Kickoff conversations to understand the church’s heart, values, congregation, and what the brand needed to communicate to Sarasota.

WK 2

Brand Development.

Logo concepts developed around the church’s identity and mission. One direction rose to the top, refined and finalized with the leadership team.

WK 3 & BEYOND

Website & Collateral.

Applying the new brand across the site and early collateral pieces — connect cards, slides, and event graphics ready for Sunday morning.

IN THE REAL WORLD

A brand built for Sunday mornings and beyond.

The One Church brand was designed from day one to live in the real world — readable on a screen, welcoming on a handout, and consistent whether someone’s visiting for the first time or serving on the team.

  • Sunday service slides & graphics
  • Connect cards & bulletin inserts
  • Kids ministry materials
  • Website & digital presence
  • Event graphics & announcements

RESULTS
