Kodiak Plumbing came to us with a strong reputation built over years of hands-on work in Georgia — and online presence was not on the radar. Relocating to Nashville meant starting fresh in a new market, and a fresh identity that could open doors: professional enough to win commercial contracts, approachable enough to earn residential trust.

 

The challenge was honoring the grit and experience Kodiak Plumbing built while creating something polished and market-ready for a competitive new city.

APPROACH & EXECUTION

We started with the bear — rugged, confident, and impossible to ignore. The Kodiak mark anchors a clean, bold system that signals expertise without feeling too corporate. Earthy tones and industrial type reflect the trade, while the overall look stays accessible and human. Everything was designed to work across job site signage, a service vehicle wrap, and a landing page built to convert.

Discovery & Direction.

Kickoff call to understand the history, their target customers in Nashville, and what the brand needed to do in the field. Moodboard and visual direction approved before any design work began.

Brand Development.

Three logo concepts were developed, and the classic bear head won by a long-shot. One round of refinement – proportion, color and lockup adjustments – then final approcal.

WK 3

Collateral Development.

Applying the new brand for the field. Developing signage, wraps, and more for Kodiak Plumbing to put their best foot forward in their new chapter.

WK 4

Quick Start Website Landing Page.

Landing page designed with full functionality to collect job requests from new and existing customers. With back-end features for future scalability and SEO integration.
